Brent has been super Dad since I have gone back to school. He has been getting up with the kids and taking them to daycare, picking them up from school, making them dinner, giving baths, and potty training Maci. Yep, you read that right. We have always heard that you should not worry about potty training boys until age 3 (that's not going to work here....I can't take adult sized diapers with adult sized contents much longer). So....he's started working on Maci's potty training -- why wouldn't you? Isn't it true that girls are more mature than boys? That girls are more advanced than boys? That girls are just plain better than boys?? I like this already.
Okay, back to potty training. What better way to potty train than to just do away with the diaper? Well, it happened. Brent, in all of the stresses of getting two children bathed and in bed, did away with a diaper for Maci. The poor little girl made it from 9:30 to about 4:00 am before she couldn't take the pee bath anymore. If we keep this up, she'll be potty trained by 4 months.
And Brent....don't you worry, forgetting a diaper is a very minor thing in the grand scheme of life....but it sure is funny to share!
